When to book

For international clients considering eyelid surgery it's worth noting the climate conditions on the west coast of Sweden. April to August offers greenery and beautiful weather, while September to March tends to be rainy. Optimal months for a visit combining surgery and experiencing the Swedish west coast are April to August.

Removing the stitches

Patients from abroad most often arrange for someone in their home country to remove the stitches. The stitches needs to be removed, they don’t dissolve themself. You can of course choose to stay in Sweden the full period from your surgery to the stitch removal.

Welcome to our clinic for eyelid surgery under secure conditions.

Anyone interested is, of course, welcome to visit my clinic for an assessment of their eyelids. The fee for such an assessment is 400 SEK. Assessments are increasingly conducted via MMS or email-submitted images, this service is provided free of charge to patients. Ideally, include whether the images are mirrored, common with selfies, or unmirrored, as when someone else takes the pictures with your mobile phone. Please send the images via email to claspeterlindhe@gmail.com or via MMS to my mobile at +46703312759. Include your name and preferably your personal identification number, for international costumers this can vary. The price for surgery on both sides is 18 000 SEK. If you opt for surgery on only one side, the cost is half.

My clinic is situated in Munkedal, 119 km from Gothenburg Airport (Landvetter) and 240 km from Oslo Airport (Gardermoen). While a hotel stay isn't required for medical reasons, it's advisable for those making longer journeys. Håby Rasta in Munkedal (haby@rasta.se) is approximately 5 km from the clinic. For alternatives, consider Hotell Viking in Uddevalla (info@hotell-viking.se), Scandic Landvetter Hotel near Gothenburg Airport (landvetter@scandichotels.com), or Radisson Blu Airport Hotel, Oslo Gardermoen (info.airport.oslo@radissonblu.com) near Oslo Airport. If you are staying in Gothenburg you can take the bus or train to either Torp Terminalen or Munkedal Station and if you let us know in advance my assistant can, in most cases, pick you up and drop you off at the stations. If you let us know in advance we can recommend you witch train/bus you can take here and then back to Gothenburg.
